New battery, new power adapter and an SSD

Hi,

I just found my old white MacBook Mid 2010 which originally has 2GB of RAM and 256GB HDD. Now I want to use it for school as a steady computer in the class room and I need to do some improvements to this thing. I want to use Windows 7 and later upgrade to Windows 10 (which sould run pretty good on this device).

I just did:

  • Upgrade the RAM from 2GB to 4GB.
  • cleaned it up (removed stickers, cleaned the power connector, etc.)

I want to do:

  • put a new battery in it (see screenshot below)
  • buy a new power adapter for the German wall socket (it don't need to be an original)
  • put in a 128 to 256 GB SSD (should be the easiest point)

Further, this thing is one of the f*cked devices which lost it's bottom case and Apple don't want to replace it (even if it has the guarantee over 4 years). Does someone know a solution for this?
